how the gilded lily thrift co. came to be
thrifting is so much more than just a hobby to me.
as a little girl, i can remember my mom taking me to the thrift store often- bringing home special finds each time and filling our home with them. each piece so unique and truly one of a kind. i learned from a very young age just how much these second hand treasures can make a space feel uniquely your own.
this lovely little of mine shop began in march of 2020, right at the beginning of quarantine. i suddenly found myself with a great deal of free time and a feeling of being uninspired. i wanted to take on a new hobby- something to fill my time in a positive and fulfilling way. so, i began thrifting up a storm and sharing my finds on instagram. never in my wildest dreams could i have imagined what this shop would become in such a small amount of time!
having the opportunity to curate a collection of vintage treasures for others to enjoy in their homes brings me so much happiness. i can truly say i am doing what i absolutely love, and i owe it all to you lovelies!
